The Wedding - When, Where, How to Get There, Etc.

When is it? - Saturday, July 14, 2001 at 4:30PM w/ the reception immediately following the ceremony

Where is the wedding? - The Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth, Illinois

Where is the reception? - Michigan Shores Country Club of Wilmette, Illinois

The Church of the Holy Comforter, pictured to the left, is Courtney's "home" church.  It is just down the street from the shores of Lake Michigan.  Courtney was baptized, received holy communion, and was confirmed there.  The Reverend Elizabeth Butler will be celebrating the covenant of marriage between Courtney and Joe at 4:30PM on July 14th, 2001.

Julie Vastola and Jen Sturch will be doing our readings; the Matron of Honor is Jen Allen, the Maid of Honor is Steph Mueller, the bridesmaids are Ashley Courtman, Hillary Courtyman, Christina Vastola and Shirley Terek.  The Best Men are Jon Maszak and Sunil Ramchand, the groomsmen are Mike Waggoner, Toby Biondi, Joe Rine and Topher Cushman.  Our ring bearer is Andrew Lindsey and the Flower Girls are Isabelle and Sophia Allen.

The reception will immediately follow the wedding and will be at the Michigan Shores Country Club, less than two miles from Holy Comforter.  Michigan Shores is just that, right on the shores of Gilson Beach of Lake Michigan in Wilmette.

Make sure to bring your dancing shoes and a clean undershirt because "The Dick Judson Band" will be providing the musical entertainment.  These guys "turn it up to 11! (in my best Spinal Tap voice)"  The Town & Country Magazine was quoted as saying, "The Dick Judson Orchestra: When US Presidents come to town, this 10-piece orchestra with vocalists is there.  Judson is a trumpet player, and his brassy sound sends a festive jolt into the Big Band, salsa, Motown, and rock he plays."
