The Story of Court and I

Courtney and I met in the winter of 1993 at Allegheny College. When people ask us when our first date was, we both shrug our shoulders...it was either March or April of that year. We both are amazed that we do not have the exact date. In any event, that winter CJ briefly introduced herself in the basement of a party on Allegheny St. but I knew who she was prior. She was the beautiful blonde girl with eyes that looked like "Fields of Wild Sunflowers." I saw her walking through Brooks dining hall in her canvas sneakers, jeans and long sleeve white shirt. I was smitten by her even before I knew her. I even told my good friend Jon, "I will date her someday."

Court and I have come to know one another through our college days, our long distance days between Chicago and Florida and our days together in the DC Area. We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know one another in so many different ways and we both are very excited about getting to know one another for the rest of our lives. I truly cannot wait to have a family and grow old with CJ.
